Nice Nice (get it?!?!)

After the wonders of Italy, Mel and I headed towards Spain, with a pit stop in Nice, France, for a night. We wondered around for the evening, seeing all of the pretty night lights of Nice, had a good sleep and then headed out to explore more the next day.

Nice has a really pretty promenade by the beach - so many rollerbladers, bikers and walkers out, which is no surprise. We enjoyed a cocktail (and were given free snacks with our drinks - so many places in Europe do this, it's really cool!), did some people watching and then headed back to the train station for an overnight train (this time in a sleeper carriage) to Barcelona. Let the good times roll!
