Evidence that I am actually ın Turkey!

Hey everyone,

Here is a collection of photos from the last few weeks so you can see what I have been up to... There is only one photo from Anzac Day - more will come in the next few days I promise! At the moment my head is still so full from the experience that putting it into words and pictures right now isnt going to happen... stay tuned!

Also - picture start at the bottom.... oops! Enjoy!

I hope your Anzac Day was a memorable one.

The trojan horse in the ancient city of Troy

Ash and I - behınd us you can see the theatre where Paul spoke

The detail in the carvings

The library of Ephesus - still ın such amazing condition

The actual terraces

The first poppies I saw were at the terraces! Sorry that they are sideways... cant read Turkish so rotation isnt gonna happen! Unfortunately we didnt see fields of poppies growing - they bloom in about a month. Such a shame...

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow

In Flanders fields.

John McRae, May 1915

Cool shot hey! This was as we arrived at the calcium terraces in Pammukale. We arrived in sunshine and literally two minutes later a storm came up! Needless to say, we couldnt spend as much time there are we wanted!

Views of Istanbul from the Galata Tower - you can walk around it to get a 360 degree view of the city. We went as the sun was beginning to set. Amazing!

Twirling ice cream - a crazy stunt to watch!!

Over looking Istanbul from the Asian side of the city - Lauren and I.

REAL turkish delight! So many flavours.... so little time.... and then you spot the baklava.....

Turkish treats - L - shop guy, Ben, Shaney. Ben, Shaney and I have been sticking together a lot on this tour, we have spent plenty of time bonding over turkish delight - two amazing people with such a love for life! Shaney has been my room mate - couldnt ask for better! Love those guys :)

You see this everywhere! People sitting on the edge of the footpath wıth scales - you pay and then you can weıgh yourself :) Not sure I really want to know... this Turkish food is BAD for the way my jeans fit :)

This one is for you Mum! Thanks for the card - I opened one :) Love you xx

Some of the crew on our first night of the tour - havıng kebabs for dinner - how Turkısh hey!
